The Parliament of Canada is open to visitors free of charge, seven days a week. Due to the closing of Center Block fro rehabilitation and construction, the House of Commons is currently operating in West Block on Parliament Hill.
When visiting Parliament Hill, you can tour West Block, attend live debates and see the books of remembrance. If you find yourself in Ottawa, we would be happy to help you book group tours of Parliament, and attend Question Period.
Tours are facilitated for individuals on a first-come, first-served basis, for groups of 10-50 upon reservation, or for school groups and classes when booked in advance.
Groups of 10 individuals or more may reserve seats for Question Period, and individuals may make arrangements to sit in Member’s Galleries facing their Member of Parliament.
